Is SportStream really free?
Yes. SportStream is a free app for streaming youth sports. You’ll need a compatible device, an internet connection, and a YouTube channel enabled for live streaming. Your provider’s data charges may apply.
Where can family and friends watch?
Your broadcast streams to your connected YouTube channel. Share the YouTube link with your fans. Viewing access depends on the visibility settings you choose for that broadcast.
What do I need to start streaming?
A phone with a camera and microphone, a reliable internet connection, and a Google account with a YouTube channel eligible for live streaming. YouTube may require verification or an activation period. A tripod and a charged battery are great game-day companions.
What about recording youth athletes?
Check your league and venue rules, and obtain the permissions needed from participants and parents or guardians before streaming. Choose the appropriate YouTube visibility setting. An unlisted link can be shared again by anyone who has it. See our privacy policy for more details.
